Polymer Marker Bands

Spectrum is the starting point for medical device development requiring critical catheter components. Our Off-the-Shelf (OTS) polymeric radiopaque marker bands are available via our webstore to accelerate the design and development of your next project. 

Polymeric marker bands features include:

• Formed by compounding a thermoplastic elastomer with microscopic tungsten particles
• Tungsten compound is extruded into thin wall tubing and installed onto a catheter via a thermal process
• Allow devices to be visible under fluoroscopy without increasing the profile or compromising the flexibility

Our offerings include laser-cut marker bands (25 ct) and marker band extruded tubing (1 extrusion in 12" length).
